Ranae Combs is the administrative assistant. She supervises the front office staff and the accounting clerk. She assists the health director with administrative duties. Other responsibilities include payroll, personnel and vital records.
The front office staff includes Emily Stafford, Processing Assistant III and Janice Keever, Office Assistant III. The front office is the central hub of the health department. The front office staff greets customers, checks in patients and assists the nurses with clinics. They also assist all staff with general office duties.
Rita Whitener is the Accounting Clerk for the health department. She prepares and submits insurance claims and Medicaid claims for all clinical and dental health services. Rita handles all collections and sends out monthly statements.
The Accounting Staff includes Toni Miller, Accounting Specialist I and Laurie Pishner, Accounting Specialist II.
The accounting specialist I processes purchase orders and accounts payable for the health department. She also assists the accounting specialist II with other accounting responsibilities.
The accounting specialist II supervises and directs all accounting functions of the health department. She works closely with the health director to construct an annual operating budget.
